Personal Watercraft Partnership Donate £200 To Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat
Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat have received a £200 donation from the Personal Watercraft Partnership. In December the PWP again ran their Charity donation giveaway competition on social media, encouraging their followers to nominate their favourite charity to receive a £200 donation from the PWP, along with the opportunity to win an ICOM M25 handheld VHF, supplied by ICOM UK.
Many charities were put forward by entrants but in the end it was Nathan Betts, who nominated Sea Palling Independant Lifeboat, whose name that was drawn to win.
Sea Palling Lifeboat Station was revived in 1972 by local people through monies raised from private, business and charitable donations, today the renamed charitable Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat, runs a single 6.3 Ocean Pro RIB, an Arancia ILB and a shoreline rescue Argocat, all covering the area between Eccles-on-Sea and Winterton-on-Sea.
